The Bel-Air Family Restaurant started in 1961 by the Albert family, the Bel-Air Restaurant and The Steak and Seafood Paradise are now owned and operated by Mr. Bernard Bourque a local entrepreneur.

The enterprise is an important employer in the Madawaska region with over 100 employees. The Bel-Air Restaurant and The Steak and Seafood Restaurant have through the years successfully seen growth due to the dynamic and dedicated employees as well as having the utmost respect for their patrons.

Pioneer in the restaurant industry in the Madawaska region, the Bel-Air Family Restaurant was the first restaurant to offer home delivery service to the Edmundston area as well as the first to offer 24 hours service.

Both restaurants are well known for the quality of the service and the variety of their menus. The Bel-Air family restaurant offers a diversified menu comprised of Canadian, Chinese, Pizza, Fish hand other fine dishes. As for the Steak and Seafood Paradise restaurant as the name implies offers a more specialized menu in an elegant decor.
